China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition (CCBN) 2023, Beijing
It's back - finally!
There's a phrase we've heard quite a lot recently. And this time it's the CCBN exhibition (China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition), where we were joined by our good friends at Guangzhou Digired to promote our coaxial connectors to the Chinese Broadcasting Market.
Three days was barely enough for the overdue catching up, as business associates and the wider broadcast family filed into the venue and reminded us how a buzzing exhibition should be done.
HD BNC and BNC 12G SDI connectors, for Belden and Canare cables, were featured on the stand. Equipment manufacturers were catered for too, with a selection of PCB and Panel mount connectors suitable for single channel 12G transmission.
New products this year, a range of 75 ohm 12G SDI 4k low loss coaxial cables, comprising; 12G-179D (0.3/1.4), 12G-M59 (0.6/2.6), 12G-59 (0.8/3.7), and 12G-6 (1.0/4.6) variants. These contain the recognised industry standard construction and dimensions adopted by the market leading RG179DT, 4855R, 4505R and 4694R styles.
"We've been making 50 ohm low loss foam PE cables for more than 10 years" said Wendy Lin, Gigatronix Taiwan Sales Manager, who accompanied Digired on their stand for the three day show duration "and with our expanding range of 12G SMPTE, 4K compliant connectors it made sense to compliment these with a matching, high performance 75 ohm cable range".
